Bone Grafting

Bone grafting is a procedure that stabilizes or replaces bone. Because the bone helps to support the teeth and hold them in place, bone grafting can help provide a solid foundation for your existing teeth or strengthen a new dental implant.

Botox

Botox is a safe, non-surgical treatment used to treat a variety of dental-related conditions, including TMJ disorder, migraines, cosmetic smile issues and facial wrinkles. Dentists are uniquely qualified to consider Botox as part of a more comprehensive assessment.

Cosmetic Veneers and Crowns

Dental veneers and crowns are thin shells of porcelain or composite resin that are custom made to fit over teeth, providing a natural, attractive look. They can be used to fix chipped, stained, misaligned, worn down, uneven or abnormally spaced teeth.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges are placed over damaged or missing teeth to improve the appearance, shape or alignment of your smile. Crowns are tooth-shaped “caps” made of porcelain or ceramic that cover the tooth in need of repair. Bridges are used to replace missing teeth by anchoring caps to surrounding teeth.

Deep Cleanings

When enough bacteria from plaque and tartar builds up and causes gum disease, a deep cleaning may be recommended. This is a special type of cleaning where plaque and tartar is removed from between your teeth and gums and the roots of your teeth.

Dental Implant Restoration

Dental implant restoration is the process of placing a prosthetic tooth, like a fixed crown or bridge, onto a dental implant.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are the long-lasting solution for missing teeth. Unlike dentures and bridges, dental implants are a comfortable, long-term replacement that you can brush and floss just as you would natural teeth.

Dentures

Dentures are removable, artificial teeth and gums used to replace missing teeth. Our denture specialists can help you get a beautiful, natural-looking set of dentures that fit comfortably. If you’re missing multiple teeth, dentures might be the perfect choice for you!

Extractions

If a tooth has been broken or damaged beyond repair, your dentist may recommend that the tooth be extracted (removed). There are two types of extractions, simple and surgical.

Fillings

A filling is a way to restore teeth with decay, damage or excessive wear. Often used to fill cavities, most people will receive at least one filling in their lifetime. Fillings preserve the natural tooth and help prevent future decay. The procedure is quick, painless and can last many years!

Invisalign®

Invisalign® is the clear alternative to braces. With Invisalign treatment, the patient wears a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten teeth.

IV Sedation

Individuals who may be anxious or require extensive dental treatment may benefit from sedation treatment. IV sedation provides a moderate sedation level to help patients be more comfortable during a dental procedure.

Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is a minimally invasive and painless alternative to dental surgery. Laser therapy is often used to remove inflamed gum tissues, decontaminate periodontal pockets and treat gum disease. Laser therapy is also used to relieve the pain associated with cold sores and canker sores, and is a quicker alternative to teeth whitening.

Mini Dental Implants

Mini dental implants have the same structure as regular dental implants, but are slightly smaller. A patient who can’t receive conventional implants may benefit from mini dental implants.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask over your nose. Sometimes called “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is one option your dentist may offer to help make you more comfortable during certain procedures.

Oral Cancer Screenings

During an oral cancer screening, your clinician will use a variety of techniques and technology to check for abnormal cells or lesions in the oral cavity. Any abnormality will indicate the need for more advanced screenings and tests.

Oral Sedation

Individuals who may be anxious or require extensive dental treatment may benefit from sedation treatment. Oral sedation involves taking a pill before, and possibly during, the appointment. Patients are awake during the procedure but many have very little memory of the visit.

Orthodontics

If your teeth are crowded, misaligned, or spaced too far apart, your dentist may recommend treatment to help guide your teeth into their proper positions. Some examples of appliances are braces, clear aligners, and retainers.

Preventative Cleanings

During a preventative cleaning, plaque and tartar is removed from around your gum line and in between your teeth. For optimal oral health, a routine preventative cleaning should be performed twice per year to help avoid gum disease.

Root Canals

A root canal is a treatment to repair and save a badly damaged or infected tooth. The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth (the pulp), cleaning and disinfecting it, then filling and sealing it.

Sealants

A sealant is a thin, protective coating that is placed on the chewing surface of a back tooth to help protect it from decay. Sealants add extra protection for the grooved and pitted areas of your teeth.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth can discolor over time for a variety of reasons, such as diet, trauma, certain medications and age. Whitening gels work to remove both surface and deep stains on teeth.

Oral Health for Older Adults

Keeping good oral hygiene habits is important at any age. As we get older, regular visits to the dentist remain necessary, particularly since changes to our health status can often affect our oral health. One study found that older adults with certain chronic conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, are more at risk for […]
